This 2005 American Saddlebred mare has been shown lightly and to much success. Taking on some of the best horses in the Midwest, she is proving she has what it takes to be a contender in the pleasure or park division.
Because they were the most commonly used breed in the military by the middle of the 19th century, saddlebreds distinguished themselvers in their service to generals and officers on both sides of the Civil War. The two most famous saddlebreds were Ulysses S. Grant's Cincinnati and Robert E. Lee's Traveller
Located on 30 acres of lush pasture in Hugo, Minnesota, Hardwood Creek Farm is a full-service training, showing and lesson operation specializing in Morgan and Saddlebred horses. Our amenities include a heated barn with over 50 stalls, spacious indoor arena, tack room, and observation window.
